Dear Lions,<\/p>

It is with great pride and purpose that I join you as the new editor of the Lion (India)<\/em> magazine. This year is not just another chapter in our journey\u2014it is a landmark moment. One of our own, Lion A.P. Singh has taken the helm as International President of Lions Clubs International. His vision, built on innovation and new initiatives, sets the stage for an inspiring year ahead.<\/p>

The Lion (India)<\/em> magazine will reflect this energy in its two print editions and eleven digital editions in 2025-2026. Through these pages, you will find stories that matter: news from Lions Clubs International, updates from LCIF, highlights from our multiple districts, and features dedicated to Leos, women members, and Leo-Lions. At the Lions International Convention in Orlando, President A.P. Singh outlined clear global priorities that will shape our work: Weeks of Service, Lions Business Networking, Service Tourism, engaging young adults and women members, and leading by example. These priorities will not only define our work but also inspire stories we will proudly share in the magazine, as Lions across India turn our President\u2019s ideas into action.<\/p>

MISSION<\/em> 1.5 <\/em><\/strong>continues to be our driving force\u2014a call for growth that remains as vital as ever. The goal is simple, but the impact is extraordinary. If each Lion in India welcomes just one new member, we will create history. More Lions mean more hands, more hearts, and more service. In a world where human needs continue to grow, our motto\u2014We Serve\u2014 requires that we strengthen our ranks to meet those needs effectively.<\/p>

The opportunity before us is clear. With an Indian Lion leading our Association, we have both the inspiration and the responsibility to demonstrate what dedicated service looks like. Let us commit to MISSION<\/em> 1.5<\/em><\/strong> with conviction and action. Together, we can build a stronger movement and extend the reach of our service to every corner where it is needed most.<\/p>

Dear Lions,<\/p>\n

I feel truly privileged to reach out to you through our magazine, especially at this historic time when a fellow Indian is leading Lions Clubs International. I am sure the pride I experienced watching Lion A. P. Singh take oath as International President at the Orange County Convention Centre in Orlando, Florida, was shared by every Indian Lion present at the ceremony \u2013 and by Lions across our country. While we celebrate this achievement, we must also embrace the responsibility it brings: to strengthen our service, uphold the values of Lionism, and ensure that India\u2019s leadership shines through action as much as through honour.<\/p>\n

There were many inspiring takeaways from President A. P. Singh\u2019s address, let me share a couple of points that especially resonated with me. Like creating spaces where new voices are heard. As Lions, we have always been the \u2018voice\u2019 for the voiceless and the marginalized. It\u2019s equally important to listen to new ideas, fresh perspectives and untold stories \u2013 from our Leos, our Leo-Lions and our women members.<\/p>\n

Also crucial is how we tell our story. This magazine is more than a record of activities; it is a powerful platform to showcase the impact of our service. When we share our stories with authenticity and passion, we inspire prospective members to join us, engage partners who believe in our mission, and amplify the good we are doing.<\/p>\n

This is our moment to lead with pride, serve with dedication, and inspire through our stories. Let us seize it fully, for the good of our communities and the legacy of Lionism.<\/p>\n
