There were large smiles on the faces of the children as well as Lions as they celebrated not just victory, but the spirit of inclusion and achievement that defined Lionathlon 2025.<\/p><p>The event was organized by District 318C under the guidance of District Governor Rajan N. Namboothiri, on March 9, 2025. Nearly 1,000 students with different abilities and support staff from 25 special schools came together for a day of sports, entertainment and camaraderie. Participants engaged in a variety of indoor games and activities adapted to showcase abilities rather than limitations.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-inner-section elementor-element elementor-element-ea6fcbc elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"ea6fcbc\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-inner-column elementor-element elementor-element-ef8c966\" data-id=\"ef8c966\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e213390 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e213390\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Encouraging the participants while also ensuring that the entire event went on smoothly were hundreds of Lions, sporting their yellow service jackets. Many students had prepared for weeks to showcase their talents and this was clearly visible as they took to the stage with confidence<\/p><p>Lionathlon 2025 represents one of several District 318C initiatives focused on creating inclusive opportunities for people with different abilities.
