Lions and Leos from around the world gathered in Orlando, Florida, July 13\u201317, 2025, for the 107th Lions International Convention. From inspiring speakers and hands-on service to lively workshops and a spectacular Parade of Nations, it was a week full of energy and connection. Attendees soaked up the sun, shared the magic of service and made memories to last a lifetime.<\/p>

The Parade of Nations \u2014 an annual, much-loved tradition of the Lions International Convention \u2014 beautifully reflects the ancient Indian philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam: \u201cthe world is one family.\u201d With Lions and Leos from over 200 countries and regions, the vibrant parade celebrates the strength and diversity of Lions Clubs International, while honouring the culture and heritage of each nation they proudly represent.<\/p>

It was a historic moment for the Lions of India as one of their own rose to the highest elected office of Lions Clubs International. Pride and anticipation filled the air as International President A. P. \u201cMy dear friends, the winds of change are blowing. Now we have two choices: either we create huge walls to protect ourselves from those winds or we will use windmills to take advantage of the winds, creating more power. Speaking as he was, in a city whose most iconic landmark is the Walt Disney World, about 24 miles away, President A. P. Singh drew many parallels between the creator and our Association. Like creating \u201cimmersive experiences\u201d for our members, tapping into the power of storytelling and celebrating diversity.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

He reminded the audience that Lions Clubs exist in so many different countries and cultures. Just as Disney\u2019s EPCOT celebrates cultures from around the world, we too must respect and embrace cultural differences. Lions is for everybody \u2014 anyone with a heart to serve.<\/p>

\u201cWe need to listen with our heart, with our mind, and with our soul at certain times,\u201d he said, going on to demonstrate that Lions is an organisation that respects inclusivity. For the next couple of minutes, the President communicated through sign language \u2013 sending out a powerful message that was greeted with huge applause. It makes no difference to Lions, if anyone is differently-abled. \u201cWe all have challenges of different kinds, but we support each other to make this world better than what it has been before.\u201d<\/p>

As one Past International Director put it: \u201cPresident A. P. Singh\u2019s address was electrifying.\u201d<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
