By setting aside a part of their pocket money, Leos across the district are discovering how small contributions, when combined, can create meaningful impact.<\/p><p>Bringing this idea to life, members of the Koonammaavu Leo Club used funds saved from their own allowances to gift 32 umbrellas and dress material sets to children in three Anganwadis, in the presence of PDG Rajesh Kolarikkal. Each umbrella, valued at \u20b9280, was more than just a shield from the sun or rain\u2014it carried with it a story. The umbrellas were purchased from a physically challenged woman who handcrafts them to support her family and her daughter\u2019s education. By choosing her work, the Leos ensured that their act of giving also became an act of empowerment.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-a94df15 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"a94df15\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-038999a\" data-id=\"038999a\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-inner-section elementor-element elementor-element-7e797a0 elementor-reverse-mobile elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"7e797a0\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-inner-column elementor-element elementor-element-cfff37a\" data-id=\"cfff37a\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-19cf36b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"19cf36b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Members of the Leo Clubs of Cochin Empire, Paingotottoor, Mulanthuruthy, Paravur North, Perumbavoor and Muvattupuzha also participated in this initiative and gifted clothes, school bags, stationery and educational toys to underprivileged children. <\/p><p>The response to the \u2018Little Coins, Big Heart\u2019 project &#8211; which was inaugurated by District Governor K. B. Shine Kumar &#8211; has been inspiring. Leos are not only contributing but also documenting their service stories, which the District Leo Chairperson shares widely.
