Lead The Way
Dear Lions,
Leadership isn’t a title — it’s an action. And every day, in every corner of the world, Lions and Leos are taking action. When we serve with compassion and conviction, we set a powerful example, showing our communities what’s possible. That’s leadership — and it takes many forms.
To achieve our MISSION 1.5 goals of strengthening our clubs and growing our service, we need leaders like you out in front, paving the path and offering encouragement. You are an essential part of this mission. Every new Lion you invite brings fresh passion and perspective, strengthening our ability to support our communities and move toward even greater outcomes.
Our leadership is also on full display through our Weeks of Service initiative. This month, Lions and Leos are taking a stand against hunger. As your club works to help overcome food insecurities in your community, be bold. Your actions not only help those in need — they also inspire others to join you.
Let’s continue to set the example, elevate our service and show the world what true leadership looks like.
Together we serve,

Dear Fellow Lions,
Large gatherings often draw attention for their scale. What truly defines them, however, is the exchange of ideas, experiences, and purpose that takes place within them.
This issue’s cover feature reflects that spirit. It captures how Lions at the 53rd ISAME Forum came together to learn, serve, deliberate, and celebrate — and what they carried home with them.
For The Record
As of January 1, 2026 Lions International had 13,58,769 members in 49,671 clubs in 200+ countries and geographical locations.

Dear Lions,
It is with great pride and purpose that I join you as the new editor of the Lion (India) magazine. This year is not just another chapter in our journey—it is a landmark moment. One of our own, Lion A.P. Singh has taken the helm as International President of Lions Clubs International. His vision, built on innovation and new initiatives, sets the stage for an inspiring year ahead.
Managing Director
Dear Lions,
I feel truly privileged to reach out to you through our magazine, especially at this historic time when a fellow Indian is leading Lions Clubs International. I am sure the pride I experienced watching Lion A. P. Singh take oath as International President at the Orange County Convention Centre in Orlando, Florida, was shared by every Indian Lion present at the ceremony – and by Lions across our country.Â
