President’s Message

Going Above and Beyond

Dear Lions,

“We Serve” is more than just a motto. It’s a way of life for Lions and reflects our mission to the world. Lions are known for our dedication, service and kindness — for going above and beyond for people in need.

So let’s continue to do what we do best: serve our communities with compassion, creativity and commitment. And remember, with more members we can expand our reach and deepen our impact. Invite others to be part of your club and the incredible work you do. This is how we will make our mark and keep serving those who need us most.

Every project we complete, every person we help, and every new member we welcome, contributes to the lasting legacy of service we’ve built together. Let’s keep inspiring one another to stay active and engaged, so we can continue showing the world what it means to be a Lion.

At your service,

Fabrício Oliveira
International President, Lions Clubs International

Dear Fellow Lions,

In this issue, we spotlight Lions Clubs partnerships with government entities—collaborations that amplify our impact far beyond what individual clubs could achieve alone. The mathematics of impact changes when institutional capacity meets local implementation: decades-long healthcare institutions emerge, entire communities gain access to services, and individual lives like young Reshma’s are forever changed.

For The Record
