A Landmark Conclave in MD 3231
On August 5, 2025, MD 3231 hosted the LCIF Fundraising Conclave at Hotel Holiday Inn, Mumbai, in the presence of PIP Frank Moore. It was a gathering of givers: every attendee had contributed a minimum of US$500 to LCIF. As Simon Sinek reminds us, “It is the givers who advance the world”—a truth Lions have long lived by, and one that was powerfully reaffirmed at this event.

What followed exceeded all expectations. Against a target of US$181,838 for 2025–2026, the large-hearted givers of MD 3231 have pledged US$419,500. In fact, Lions of the multiple have already contributed US$236,000 – which is about 130% of the year’s target!

Two landmark pledges defined the conclave: US$116,387 from Lion Rajesh Agarwal of District 3231–A3 and US$100,000 from District Governor Trevor Martis of District 3231-A2. These commitments alone placed MD 3231 well on the path to meeting PIP Moore’s challenge of USD 350,000.
To honor every donor, PIP Frank Moore personally presented LCIF Chairman’s Appreciation Certificates and the International President’s Lapel Pin—a gesture that reflected both appreciation and pride in the spirit of giving.
PIP Frank Moore and LCIF Trustee and CA VI Area Leader PID G.S. Hora appreciated the efforts made by LCIF Area Leader Hanuman Agarwal, MCC Manish Ladage, all four District Governors, LCIF Multiple and District Coordinators and their teams.
International Director Pankaj Mehta, Past LCIF Trustees PID Vijay Kumar Raju and PID Shyam Malpani also addressed the gathering.
The LCIF team from the ISAME Regional Office were also present, including Regional Head Ms. Gloria Giri. She was joined by Ms. Ruchitaa Mehra, Manager Operations, and Ms. Rashmi Wills, Deputy Head, Resource Mobilization/Development.

Inspiring Leadership in MD 320

It was PIP Frank Moore’s maiden visit to the multiple. And Lions of MD 320 were determined to make it memorable. At the Park Hyatt in Hyderabad, the Special Council Meeting of MD 320 on August 07, 2025 brought together passionate leaders from across the districts who shared their reports – not as routine updates, but as proud accounts of lives touched and communities transformed. To carry the spirit forward, the districts pledged to welcome over 500 new members and to launch new clubs—an ambitious step that reflected their shared commitment to growth.
In his address, PIP Frank Moore commended PID Dr. G. Babu Rao for his visionary leadership and praised PID Sunil Kumar, the Council Officers, and the District Governor Teams for their steady commitment to MISSION 1.5 and to LCIF. His words echoed the essence of Lionism—service, leadership, and global impact while energizing the entire MD 320 family.
That evening, the celebrations at Engineers Bhavan were as lively as they were meaningful. Club presidents gathered to celebrate excellence, while PIP Frank Moore presented awards to outstanding contributors. The highlight of the evening was the induction of new members, who were delighted to be welcomed to the Lions family by PIP Frank Moore himself.
