Editorial Note
Dear Fellow Lions,
Recognition often arrives late. Service, almost never waits.
The stories in this issue, brought together through the We Serve India Awards, reflect a kind of work that continues regardless—work shaped by local realities, long hours, and choices made without certainty of outcome. It is not hurried, and it is rarely loud.
What emerges, instead, is continuity. Of people staying with a problem long enough to understand it. Of solutions refined through practice rather than proclamation.
As Lions, this rhythm is familiar. We serve not for visibility, but because the work asks for us—again and again.
I hope this Cover Feature encourages a moment of reflection: on the value of patience, on the strength of persistence, and on the quiet resolve that keeps service alive.
