The school was founded in 1972 by the Lucknow Cantonment Lions Club, District 321B1. At a time when quality education was still out of reach for many families in the area, the Lions decided to create a space where children—especially those from humble backgrounds—could learn with dignity. What began with just a handful of nursery classes has since grown into a three-storey institution providing students up to Class VIII with a strong foundation in academics, values, and extracurricular activities. Spacious classrooms, activity areas, and basic infrastructure provided in this building have enabled the school to function effectively and cater to the needs of hundreds of students every year.
What makes Lions Bal Vidya Mandir special is not just its history, but the way it has stayed close to its founding purpose.
