Under the visionary theme of TAKSH – symbolizing creation, innovation, and inspiration – the Leos of District 317D came together for an event that blended impactful service with heartfelt gratitude and leadership.
The event was presided over by District Leo President Leo-Lion Sameeksha Rhea, whose dynamic leadership and dedication to the Leo movement were evident throughout the proceedings. Her guidance continues to motivate the Leos of 317D to push boundaries and lead with purpose.

The presence of Chief Guest Leo-Lion Ritwik Bhawsinghka, International Leo Advisory Panelist for the ISAME Area, brought a global perspective to the gathering. His powerful and motivational address reminded Leos of the global reach and responsibility of young leaders.
PDG Sanjiet Shetty, a long-time supporter of the Leos, was the Guest of Honour. His unwavering support for youth-led initiatives speaks of decades of trust and shared values. When District Governor B.M. Bharathi formally inaugurated TAKSH, her words reinforced the district’s dedication to empowering the next generation of service leaders.
But TAKSH’s true impact lay in its actions. As part of the educational service initiative, Leos of District 317D provided ₹10,000 each to ten deserving students. This initiative aimed to support their academic journeys and empower their future through education.
In a proud display of gratitude and solidarity, Leos also raised funds collectively and presented a Melvin Jones Fellowship (MJF) to Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) – a reflection of their commitment to global service and their heartfelt appreciation for the Lions’ constant support.

TAKSH embodied its theme perfectly: Imagine, Innovate, Inspire. It proved that when young leaders gather with purpose, they don’t just plan for change—they create it.
